Large description:

To manage the delivery stable and effective delivery of services across a number of projects through the efficient delivery of the day-to-day services; within set budgets and to the agreed levels of quality as defined within the Trust Business Plan, Quality Assurance Strategy and Key Performance Indicators.

General Management Responsibilities
1. To maintain and develop a Christ centred culture, values and reputation and to demonstrate strategic Christian leadership by creating an environment that fosters teamwork, promotes diversity and which supports and respects all Stakeholders.
2. To assist in formulating and development of Trust policy and practice.
3. To deliver the objectives of the Trust as identified in the Business Plan, through line management and through meeting key performance targets relating to the role.
4. To draft plans and budgets for approval and to implement and manage the approved plans and budgets.
5. Ensure that appropriate risk assurance processes operate effectively.
6. Enhance the profile of the Trust by developing and maintaining new partnerships with key stakeholders and service commissioners.
7. To promote a culture of quality, economy, efficiency and effectiveness.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities
This list is not exhaustive but is indicative of your main areas of work.
a. To manage a number of projects ensuring that they are stable, effective and that the efficient delivery of the day-to-day services is maintained and enhanced; within set budgets and to the agreed levels of quality as defined within the Trust Business Plan, Quality Assurance Strategy and Key Performance Indicators.
b. To maintain agreed staffing levels by recruiting high quality staff in conjunction with your line manager and the HR Department.
c. To ensure that there are fair and equitable rotas that provide safe levels of cover at all times within the projects (this may require the post holder to take part in the project rota as necessary).
d. To ensure that the Trust buildings you manage are maintained to a safe and habitable standard and that all defects and repairs are reported. 
e. To manage the referral process across the projects to achieve agreed occupancy levels and to keep all relevant agencies informed of the progress of the application.
f. To liaise with the Probation Service, Prisons and other agencies in the assessment, selection and de-selection of Service Users and to promote the work of the Trust.
g. To support statutory agencies in the monitoring of risk and other support/care or training factors and to write reports for the courts and others as requested in line with the Trust Confidentiality Policy.
h. To ensure that the level of risk posed by service users is fully assessed and managed to safe and acceptable levels to protect the public, staff and other service users.
i. To ensure that service users are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes through the best use of the Trust ‘Case Management’ systems and that they continue to meet the requirements of NOMS, CSCI, HC and Local Authority Supporting People requirements.
j. To ensure that all rent and board payments are collected in a timely manner. 
k. To liaise with other housing providers to build and maintain move-on facilities for service users.
l. To lead regular minuted team meetings, ensuring that your team is fully briefed and kept up-to-date with current issues including referrals, risk factors, changes to shifts, performance against budget and occupancy levels.
m. To promote and support service user involvement, manage complaints and seek resolutions. 
n. To ensure that visitors are welcomed to your projects and ensure their safety.
o. Interpret service specifications and ensure that your projects returns for Supporting People, Housing Corporation and other relevant agencies are accurate, timely and suitably reflect the service provision.
p. To enable and service a local support group and prayer network.

g) Deputise: To be familiar with the work of your line manager and deputise for him/her, when required, in their absence.
h) Professionalism: To act professionally and maintain appropriate boundaries.
i) Communication: To report regularly to your line manager and/or colleagues on material matters in relation to the specific tasks of your role.
j) Records: To regularly monitor and ensure that you manage and maintain accurate and timely records so that the highest standards of probity and accountability are achieved and all organisational requirements and targets that apply to the post are met.
k) Plans: To demonstrate understanding of the current Trust business plan and performance indicators.
l) Finances: To assist in the control of both income and expenditure within Trust limits and the project/department budget.
m) Shortfalls: Identify and report shortfalls in services to your manager.
n)    Liaison: To liaise at an appropriate level with a range of agencies, including Probation, Social, Housing and Health Services.
