Large description:

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Youth Inclusion Worker for a minimum of 6 months.

Duties Inlcude;

Managing your own caseload – delivering interventions and programmes designed to prevent offending and antisocial behaviour in children referred to the panel. This work could be intensive one to one sessions or group work – as well as completing assessments on risk factors associated with predicting offending, and working with parents or carers, and siblings.
You’ll keep a focus on quality of output at all times – and advise on Integrated Support Plans, developing these with our partners and attributing accountability.
 You’ll work across a wide range of settings – schools, homes, youth clubs, referral units – and devise and run activities for young people in residential programmes.

All this takes energy, enthusiasm and commitment – no less. And you’ll need it in abundance. You’ll have an understanding of child development, the risk factors associated with offending, and theories on early intervention and case management.
You’ll also need great communication skills – you’ll meet with all kinds of people in all kinds of settings – and you’ll be confident assessing and reporting on cases. So you’ll have skills in translating assessments into support plans, and enjoy working as part of a busy team. Moreover, you’ll build strong, positive relationships with the children within the service – quickly becoming a credible role model for them.

You must be a car driver and be able to start work immediately

Recent CRB essential.
