Large description:

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Refuge Worker based in Manchester. You will be managing a caseload of clients supporting women fleeing domestic violence.

Candidates for this role will need:

    * Knowledge of current domestic violence legislation
    * The ability to conduct keyworking sessions and needs and risk assessments
    * Experience of working within the Supporting People framework

Responsibilities include:

•  Providing a secure and supportive environment for women and children fleeing domestic violence
•  Managing a caseload of clients all with domestic violence issues
•  Offering advice around benefits issues, along with housing management adivce
• Teaching life skills and offering practical and emotional support
