Project Workers required in Tameside and Manchester

We are seeking an experienced Project Worker to work for a Housing Association providing supported accommodation for vulnerable client groups.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients with duties including:

•     * Risk assessments and support plans
•     * One to one support sessions with service users
•     * Helping access training or employment
•     * Assisting with skills to move into independent living
•     * Multi-agency working
•     * Assisting with the running of the project

This role will be based in a Project for service users with Mental Health problems and/or Learning Difficulties or at the Tenancy Support service providing floating support to a generic client group to help prevent homelessness.

You will have

•  Experience of working in supported housing, ideally within Tenancy  Support
  
•  Experience of carrying out risk assessments
•  Developing Support Plans and reviews
•  Ability to work well in a pressurised environment and be able to handle difficult situations effectively.
•  Experience of working with clients with challenging behaviour
•  Ability to think of innovative solutions to problems
•  Own transport
