Tenancy Sustainment Officer jobs are available in a number of our Council / Local Authority clients throughout the Greater Manchester area.

BRC social housing are seeking a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to work for our client based in Manchester.

The main purpose of this post is to provide an efficient, customer focused support service to the clients residents.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

*Carrying out risk assessments to minimise risk for the resident, other residents and staff.
*
*Debt counselling, understanding occupation rights, welfare benefits, help in ensuring the safety and security of the dwelling, addressing social, cultural and religious needs of users.
* Provide a low-level floating support service to vulnerable people
*encourage residents to take part in making decisions about service delivery.

As a tenancy sustainment officer your duties will include providing a clear, prompt and comprehensive advice to residents and keep up to date records detailing support provided.

You must have had experience working with vulnerable people, have housing statutory services knowledge and have previously worked for a housing association and local authority.

You must have access to a car and have an enhanced CRB check within the last year and be a car driver with own transport.
