Large description:

An Interim Manager is required to join a leading national charity organisation in Greater Manchester. The centre has been running for over 10 years and due to expansion plans for 2010 a new service will be offered to children suffering from disabilities in the Greater Manchester community. You will come from a children and families background and ideally have experience in dealing with disabilities on a management level. You will be expected to lead and maintain the professional service standards, including case management administered through the effective application of people management policies. Reporting to the Service Manager you will also form close links with social service providers and other external professionals. You will also oversee both general and complex cases allocated to social workers with a view to achieving agreed positive outcomes. This 6 month interim assignment will be offered following an interview panelling process.
