Large description:

Our client is looking to recruit F/T and P/T Leaving Care Support Workers for work across the following areas;

Preston - Covering Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson and Colne
Manchester  - All areas including Tameside
Blackpool - City Centre


The successful candiates will form part of the leaving care team and offer community based pracitcal and emotional to young people. You must hold and NVQ 3 in children and young people, be a car driver with own transport and have previous community based support experience with this client group.

Duties Will include;

• Managing a case load of clients
• Developing and reviewing support plans
• Property checks
• Escorts
• Offering practical and emotional support
• Inducting new clients to the service
• Providing housing management advice
• Signposting to other agencies
• Maintaining accurate records

This post is offered on a long term (Possible perm basis)
Hours of Work: Typically 9am - 5pm, however evening and weekends maybe required to meet the needs of the service users.
Salary: £9.00 per hours plus mileage
