We are looking to recruit a number of experienced Night Support Worker, to provide low level support and security to a homeless young persons hostel in Macclesfield.

Large description:

Housing Support is recruiting on behalf of one of clients in Macclesfield. We are looking for experienced support workers to provide low level support and night security within a young persons hostel.

You will be based within new premises, close to all local amenties and train station. We are looking for 7 night waking night cover for a minimum of 6 months. The sucessful candidate must have previous Homeless/Young persons experience, be willing to work between 3/4 Waking Nights a week and be a car driver with own transport.

No formal qualifications required, however you must be able to demostate an understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness, be compasionate, emphathetic and have genuine interest in supporting the homeless.

Duties Include;

• Providing low level support to residents
• Building checks
• Ensuring all residents adhere to the house rules
• Engaging with the residents when necessary
• Collect rent if required
• Administration duties
• Recording the nightly events

Hours of work will be 10pm - 8am.
Salary £7.50 per hour.
