Launched in January 2008, Procurement for Housing’s Agency Labour Agreement has created a strategic approach to labour purchasing, enabling housing providers to achieve more clarity and control over agency rates and finders fees.
 
Members of Procurement for Housing (PfH) will be able to make up to 40% savings on commission rates, discounts for finder's fees and temp to perm fees of up to 100% and savings of 80% on VAT costs. Further costs savings can also be obtained through consolidated invoicing processes.
 
The Agreement will also provide clear invoicing, allowing Members to see all aspects of commission rates, candidate wages, National Insurance (NI) and Work Time Regulation Charges (WTR). The agreement will also include free Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checking as standard.
